Becoming Catholic- RCIA

An Open Invitation

Have you ever thought about inviting someone to our Catholic community of faith? Has your spouse, a family member, friend or co-worker been drawn to your faith or to the way you live your life, and wanted to know more? Perhaps they’re searching for what you have.  Have you, yourself, ever felt a need to be drawn deeper into your faith and relationship with Christ?   The Catholic Church has a rich heritage of helping people on their journey of faith.

This year we embark on a new opportunity with The Journey of Faith sessions.  Here people come into a casual open setting to listen to short Journey of Faith presentations about different faith related topics. These sessions allow those inquiring about their faith to learn about Church teaching and doctrine, prayer, Scripture, developing a relationship with Christ, and topics relevant for today.

Everyone is welcome to come to the Journey of Faith presentations on Wednesday nights from 6-7 pm in the lower level meeting room of the parish center. You can join us anytime throughout the year. Our first presentation will be on September 18th and will be on Prayer: Uniting our Hearts with God. Click here to view the rest of the topics and dates.

For those seeking to join the Catholic Church, the RCIA program (Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults)  is built into the Journey of Faith presentations.  You will be prepared to receive Sacraments of Initiation as a part of this journey.  If you have questions, you can contact Brenda Collins at [email protected] or call 742-6998 for more information about setting up your individualize steps.
