Staff Member: Teresa Romain
I serve the community of St. Mary Help of Christians as the Director of Faith Formation. I have a background in Business Administration and Theology from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota where I was also a member of the Campus Ministry staff.
After graduating, I moved to Chicago and was actively involved in Young Adult Ministry in the Archdiocese of Chicago. More recently, I completed my training to become a Spiritual Director the Franciscan Center for Spirituality in LaCrosse, Wisconsin. For the past twenty years (and counting!), I have built a business as a motivational/ transformational speaker and personal growth coach.
My passion and commitment is to have both children and adults experience the presence of God within and around them and to open themselves more fully to God’s love and grace in their lives.
I live with my husband, Dan, near Briggsville and love to be outside whenever possible hiking, biking, gardening and watching the birds – especially sandhill cranes. (I LOVE cranes! So unless you want to hear all about it, don’t ask! LOL!) When I’m not outside, I love to read, write, watch classic old movies and cook for family and friends.
